Trump Wants to Make America White Again — Permanently

President using anti-DEI crusade to pass white nationalist legislation

You can’t analyze President Donald Trump without understanding race relations in America. Trump is a white supremacist. He has made many statements to reinforce this over the last 50 years. The first mention of Trump in the media was a 1973 article in The New York Times about his father’s company being sued by the Justice Department for not renting apartments to Black people.

During his time as a real estate developer in New York, he frequently made racially offensive statements, such as demanding five Black and Latino men accused of raping a white woman be executed. The men were later exonerated. Although Trump still believes they’re guilty. He has never apologized for his comments.

However, what motivated Trump’s rise to the presidency was the first African-American President, Barack Obama. Obama’s presidency infuriated many white Americans who saw him as an interloper occupying a position reserved for white men. Trump realized this, and he rode that anger to occupy the Republican Party and eventually the presidency. Without Obama, there couldn’t have been Trump.
