Trump Refuses to Wear Mask Even As Covid-19 Rips Through White House

President prefers looking strong Over Being Smart, Safe

Last week, President Donald Trump visited an Arizona factory and refused to wear a mask, even though this was mandatory for workers. When challenged with this, he told a blatant lie to the press corps and said they didn’t see him wearing a mask. Vice President Mike Pence has joined in this folly. He’s been spotted not wearing a mask and even asked a group of business leaders who visited the White House to remove their masks. This behavior is widespread in the Trump administration.

A May 8 NBC News story reported, “Two dozen House Republicans gathered with Trump and other administration officials in the State Dining Room at the White House on Friday afternoon to discuss the country’s economic recovery from the pandemic. None of the attendees wore a mask.”

This stupidity is concrete proof that after the deaths of 80,000 Americans, the Trump administration is continuing to politicize the coronavirus pandemic — the exact behavior…
