Right-Wing Media Wants to Lynch Gen. Milley But Avoids Trump’s Mental Status

Former president was unhinged for years; GOP looked the other way

The right-wing media is up in arms about revelations from Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s “Peril.” One of the allegations is that Gen. Mark Milley, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was so worried about Trump’s mental state after he lost the November 2020 election that he contacted his Chinese counterpart to inform him that America wasn’t planning a nuclear strike.

According to the book, Milley noticed that Trump had declined severely since he lost the election. One of his frequent outlets was raging against China, claiming the nation had collaborated with Joe Biden and deliberately unleashed the coronavirus.

Milley was seriously concerned that Trump might lash out at China. Milley had already seen that Trump was trying to bypass the military by firing top leadership in the Pentagon and replacing them with loyalists. Also, Trump sent out a memo demanding the withdrawal from all foreign military…
