Republicans Demand Biden Resign, Ignored Trump’s Atrocities
Dems shouldn’t do the right thing for the wrong reasons
As someone who writes about politics, it has become clear that Republicans are constantly trying to use the old Jedi mind trick on Democrats. They frequently try to project ideas into Democrats’ heads. Unfortunately, these ideas involve behavior Republicans would never follow. In short, Republicans want Democrats to cut their own throats.
They do this by casually suggesting Democrats live up to standards that Republicans have no intention of maintaining. For example, several GOP politicians have called upon President Joe Biden to resign over the Kabul airport bombing. In their minds, the terrorist attack is an example of Biden’s incompetent leadership. They also think that America leaving Afghanistan and the subsequent chaotic evacuation is Biden’s fault.
“Should Biden step down or be removed for his handling of Afghanistan? Yes,” said Nikki Haley, former United Nations ambassador, conveniently forgetting that her former boss negotiated the exit agreement with the Taliban.
