Republican Voters Discover Female President Better Than Corrupt Tyrant

Trump voters paying the price for racism, sexism

A few days ago, I had a conversation with a friend who is a Black millionaire. He told me he had donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Democratic Party in order to help Kamala Harris become president. My friend is an immigrant and also experienced deprivation growing up, so he hasn’t always been wealthy. But he realized democracy was more pressing than tax cuts. And as Black man, he was aware of the danger Trump posed.

Unfortunately, the Dems were punished for trying to do the right thing. They selected Harris to stand in for President Joe Biden after the media hounded him out of the race. She was the number two and next in line. However, some donors were pressing for an open primary, which could have allowed for a stronger (white male) candidate.

But my friend said the Dems made a strategic error. Harris was a Black female, and that turned out to be a double whammy for many voters. She swam upstream against a tide of racism and sexism.

The presidential election turned out to be a repeat of 2016, with the media on the side of Trump because he’s great clickbait, and the Democratic female candidate becoming a victim of sexism.
