Proud Boys Turn on Leader After His History of Snitching is Revealed

Hate group is at war with police and itself

After running wild for several years, the Proud Boys, one of the nation’s most high-profile white nationalist groups, seems to be falling apart. Gavin McInnes, the group’s founder, stepped down in 2018 after the legal ramifications of being in charge of a street-fighting group finally hit him. And Enrique Tarrio, who stepped up to replace McInnes, is now in hot water after it was revealed that he was an FBI informant.

This didn’t surprise me. If you’re familiar with the way law enforcement works, you know that anytime you see a person with a felony record who keeps getting in trouble, but stays out of jail, he must have cut a deal with the police.

And that’s what happened with Tarrio. Even though he was a felon, he kept getting arrested but was soon released. This was explained when the FBI revealed he had a history of working with them…
