Post Columnist Wants Biden to Pardon Trump; It Will Never Happen
Former president has committed too many crimes to go free
Republicans like to play evil Jedi mind tricks on Democrats. They do this by inserting ideas that will harm Democrats into the public arena. For example, during the 2020 presidential campaign, former President Donald Trump suggested the only way Democrats could win was by naming socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as their candidate.
I’ve been following Sanders for more than 15 years, and I like some of his ideas, but I know there is no way America is going to make a socialist president. If Democrats had adopted that idea, they would have gifted the presidency to the Republicans. And that was the goal of the idea in the first place. Republicans love trying to get us to cut our own throats.
Conservative columnist Jason Willick made a similar suggestion in his recent Washington Post column, which proposes President Joe Biden pardon, Trump — for the nation's sake.
