Partisan Reality Dooms Americans to COVID-19 Jail

Americans are too dumb to get vaccinated, follow guidelines, so masks are here to stay

Get used to wearing masks. I predict we’re going to be wearing them until 2022. The coronavirus pandemic has taught me Americans don’t like following rules or understand how science works. Science and viruses don’t have a political bent to them. A virus, such as AIDS or COVID-19, will bring you down whether you’re straight, gay, liberal or conservative, if you don’t protect yourself. But too many Americans don’t get that.

Recent developments have convinced me that some Americans still don’t understand how the coronavirus works, and this stubbornness and political loyalty will force us to continue wearing masks until the end of the year.

The development of a coronavirus vaccine should be seen as a good thing, but the problem is getting Americans to take it. Unfortunately, like everything in America these days, the coronavirus vaccine has been politicized. Whether you take it has a lot to do with your political leanings. Liberals who believe in science and research are more likely to take their vaccines. Republicans, who tend to think that “The Flintstones” was a documentary, are more likely not to take the vaccine. A recent poll showed the stark divide in vaccine use.
