President Donald Trump has a host of mental and emotional problems. He’s a narcissist, sociopath and a psychopath. A psychologist could spend a week trying to break down his mental problems.

However, a recent Guardian article adds a new wrinkle to Trump’s many mental ticks. Author John R. MacArthur, president and publisher of Harper’s Magazine, claims the president is a solipsist. I had to look that word up. Merriam-Webster dictionary describes a solipsist as someone who suffers from “extreme egocentricity.”

The term is a combination of the Latin words solis (alone) and self (ipse.) I would say that fits Trump to a tee. Several former Trump advisers have stated he believes whatever in his mind is true, even if there is no evidence to back it up.

The Only Truth is Whatever Trump Thinks

During his first run back in 2016, he was quizzed about military advisors on “Meet the Press” and said he was “advising himself.” Of course, the compliant media never called out that ridiculous statement!
