Musk’s Twitter Takeover Is Fraught with Potential Problems

It’s been a few days since Elon Musk, the world’s richest man with a fortune estimated at $260 billion, purchased Twitter.

Musk, a serial entrepreneur, bought Twitter for a staggering $44 billion. He claims he wants to make the platform completely uncensored. However, his purchase raises several questions.

First, we have to raise the question of his money. Twitter was previously run by a board of directors and a CEO. But now it’s going to be under the control of one man and at the mercy of his foibles. Musk, for all his engineering talent and financial acumen, is not the most stable of characters.

Billionaire Bully

He’s extremely mercurial. He’s been involved in Internet beefs, which cost him dearly. For example, during the rescue of Thai schoolboys trapped in a cave, Musk accused one rescuer, Vernon Unsworth, of being a pedophile. Unsworth later called Musk “a billionaire bully.” He lost a libel case to Musk, but it generated a lot of bad publicity.
