My brother often tells the story of one of the founders of Google. According to the story, in the early days of the company, he would often date coworkers. He didn’t see why dating the boss was a problem. He thought that since they worked together and spent a lot of time with each other, it would be no problem forming a personal relationship.

The story illustrates how people can be geniuses in one field, say technology, but are totally clueless about another field. This applies to Elon Musk, the billionaire technologist who has offered $44 billion to purchase Twitter. Musk knows a lot about technology.

He’s built a groundbreaking electric car company, Tesla, and also runs SpaceX, which produces commercial rockets. But as I stated in a previous article, he doesn’t know everything. One field he clearly doesn’t understand is politics. You can see that in his recent statement.

Far-Left Democrats?

In response to a post about extremism on the left and the right, Musk said the Democratic Party had been taken over by left-wing extremists.
