Longtime Lawbreaker Madison Cawthorn Calls Zelensky ‘a Thug’
Republican legislator has a lengthy rap sheet
I’ve mentioned in previous articles that many Republicans seem quite adept at propaganda. And they also ascribe to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbel’s principle of accusing others of what you’re guilty of. Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) is a perfect example of this.
Cawthorn is a politician of the Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) variety. That means they come into the political arena knowing nothing about the field and are only interested in gaining publicity, not writing legislation.
Cawthorn was elected to his position about two years ago. And in that short time, he’s shown he’s clueless about politics, and usually has the wrong end of the stick. Many of his constituents are already regretting voting for him as they’ve figured out he’s more interested in headlines than serving his district.
