Let Me Say It Again; Ashli Babbitt Was a Dupe Who Followed a Conman to Her Death!
Traitorous terrorist doesn’t deserve to be honored
A few days after the Capitol attack, I penned an article criticizing the attempted beautification of Ashley Babbitt, a Trump cultist who was shot dead on Jan. 6. But it seems as if Babbitt is turning into the terrorist who won’t die. There is a determined effort to keep her name alive and turn her into some kind of martyr figure. Her name frequently pops up on Twitter and also shows up in the hashtags. I often “jack the hashtags” by posting accurate information about Babbitt that doesn’t paint her in a positive light.
And on Thursday, I read a Guardian story that said Kmart and Sears had to remove a pro-Babbitt T-shirt from their stores. The shirt featured the logo: “Ashli Babbitt American Patriot!
Also, some politicians are trying to launch a campaign to expose the officer who rightfully shot Babbitt. Her name was brought up by former President Donald Trump and Ariz. Rep. Paul Gosar. They have both demanded the exposure of the officer who fired the shot.
