Last week, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said he had to put the city on lockdown because COVID-19 numbers were through the roof. I saw on Twitter people were bashing him. I just don’t get it. People are so self-absorbed they want to go on with their lives.
Do they realize that we’re in the middle of a pandemic? The hospitals are at breaking point. Garcetti, and Gov. Gavin Newsom are doing this not because they want to, but because they have to. (We now have a statewide shutdown.) You don’t want to get to the point where sick people can’t get admitted to the hospital because there’s no room. And we’re getting close to that point.
