Former CNN anchor is latest casualty in Trump’s media war
In a previous article, I explained how President Donald Trump is waging a war against the media. The latest casualty is former CNN anchor Jim Acosta, who quit on Tuesday.
Trump is a natural enemy of the media because they’re supposed to seek the truth. As one of the biggest liars out there, Trump hates the truth. In the Trump administration, there’s only one truth, and that’s what comes from him, even if it’s a ridiculous lie.
For example, at her disastrous press conference on Tuesday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt falsely stated the Biden administration sent $50 million worth of condoms to Gaza. This is not true. But now it’s been repeated thousands of times and people believe it. That’s how the “Trump truth” works.
Acosta was a person who held Trump to the truth. And now he has parted ways with CNN. Acosta saw the writing on the wall when his show was moved to the graveyard shift. It was clear the network wanted him gone.
