I’ve written about the VICE show “While the Rest of Us Die” before, but the latest episode on America’s recent foreign wars was painful. I groaned several times while watching it. It’s painful because I remember writing articles condemning the war, and I talked to people who lost children in Iraq. I know families whose kids came back with PTSD. One of the soldiers interviewed bluntly said, “War is a racket.”

He added that while he and his teammates were dying and losing limbs, some people were getting rich. Unfortunately, this scam has been going on for a long time.
