Is Trump Running For President Or From the Law?

Even Republicans are tired of the Trump show

I didn’t waste my time watching former President Donald Trump’s announcement of his latest attempt at the White House. I said that if I was home, I might tune in and watch it. On Tuesday night, I tuned into MSNBC and they covered part of the announcement. All three of the big cable networks eventually broke away.

The networks have clearly learned from 2016’s mistakes when Trump received round-the-clock coverage. This time they only covered part of the announcement and quickly switched back to real news.

It’s hard to believe that the twice-impeached president who’s facing a myriad of legal challenges is running for the position again. But I suspect he’s running under the false assumption that he’s immune from prosecution while running for office. According to all the sources I’ve read, that’s not true.

I don’t believe most Americans want another helping of Trump’s chaos. His disastrous stay in the White House is still fresh in our memories. We remember those days of chaotic press conferences, marathon tweets in the middle of night, promoting conspiracy theories, genuflecting to the Russians and embarrassing America on the national stage. Who wants a return to that?
