I read an interview with a former federal prosecutor who essentialy said the same. They are trying to build an iron clad case, and even if convicted Trump could work a deal that involved no jail time. I think the best case is the one in Fulton County. But even that is a jury case and you need a unanimous vote. And there in lies the problem!
