FOX News, Right-Wing Media Have Giant Freak out over Jan.6 Hearings
Conservative news outlets try to bury hearings in lies, BS and conspiracy theories
As a writer who tries to put out a new blog every day, there are many days when I wonder what I’m going to write about. But I really shouldn’t worry, because as long as FOX News Channel exists, there’ll always be a new outrage.
And Fox News and the right-wing media’s giant freak out over the Jan. 6 hearings provides endless fodder. I’ve written about how FOX News was the only major network to ignore the hearings. The network didn’t want to risk having its viewers learn the truth about the Capitol attack. But the network’s reaction to the hearings has only gotten worse.
The reactions ranged from outright denial to conspiracy theories and other forms of truth distortion. Actually, it’s not truth distortion, it’s just straight-up lies.
