Former WH Press Secretary Was Passive Observer to Trump’s Misdeeds
Stephanie Grisham was bad at her job; still wants us to buy her book
I admit that I’ve become somewhat of a political book junkie during the Trump era. If there’s a political book out, I’ll probably read it. I recently read back-to-back books about the Trump administration and, after that, I had to read a sports biography to cleanse my mental palate. The mind can only take in so much negativity.
Former President Donald Trump has been somewhat of a boon for political books. It seems everyone who worked in the White House has written a book about that era. And the latest one is “I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw at the Trump White House,” by one-time White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham.
Grisham was one of several increasingly lousy press secretaries, including Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kayleigh McEnany. They were all renowned for lying to the press. McEnany was infamous for breaking her vow not to lie to the media within the first hour of her job.
