Former Acting DNI Tries to Gaslight Right-Wing Terrorism, Fails Miserably

Richard Grenell gets dragged for attempting to attack Malcolm Nance, a real intelligence pro

A few days ago, I found myself in the bizarre position of being caught in a Twitter fight between two media personalities. On one side was former counterterrorism officer Malcolm Nance, who appears on MSNBC. And on the other side was former acting director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who has appeared on Fox News Channel.

However, this battle could be seen as a metaphor for our current political situation. On one side is logic, reason and facts, and on the other side is propaganda, lies and gaslighting. In case you haven’t figured out, Nance is on the side of logic; Grenell is on the side of gaslighting.

Attack of the Trolls

Nance has been promoting his new book “They Want to Kill Americans,” which will be released later this year. The book details the Trump-led insurgency currently afflicting the nation. Nance has been shockingly accurate in his predictions about current political events.
