Evidence Indicates Capitol Police Chief Sund Lied About Terrorist Attack

We all knew there was something fishy about the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. How did the insurrectionists know where to go? Why did some police officers allow them entry? And why were the attackers, who were filmed committing all kinds of crimes including murder, allowed to walk out calmly? As reporter Greg Palast said in an interview with the Law and Crime Trial Network, the Capitol was a murder scene and everyone there was a witness or a suspect.

But one of the most troubling comments came from former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund. In the early days after the attack, he stated that there was no warning of potential violence. Sund has resigned from his position.

“Chief Steven Sund said Thursday that police had planned for a free speech demonstration and did not expect the violent attack. He said it was unlike anything he’d experienced in his 30 years in law enforcement,” according to PBS.

Sund can’t say he didn’t expect violence because they were plenty of open-source information of an attack being planning. Trump cultists were all over social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Parler threatening violence.

Sund isn’t being honest

This statement is a lie. The only question is why Sund is lying? Is he doing it to save face, or does he have a more sinister ulterior motive? Sund can’t say he didn’t expect violence because there was plenty of open-source information of an attack being planning. Trump cultists were all over social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Parler threatening violence. Twitter and Facebook quickly terminated accounts that threatened violence.
