My girlfriend, who is a political junkie too, often says I shouldn’t be shocked at the illogical comments that come out of MAGA followers’ mouths. But I continue to be stunned by these statements. Since I write about politics, I have to monitor what the right is saying, no matter ludicrous.

And this weekend served up another bounty of irrational comments from Trumpists.
