Californians Did The Right Thing By Rejecting Bigoted Crackpot Elder
Golden state residents opted for the experienced politician
So California Gov. Gavin Newsom survived a recall election. But he didn’t just survive it; he trounced the clownish Republican contender Larry Elder.
After facing backlash for his hypocritical stance at the French Laundry, an expensive restaurant, Newsom got his ass in gear and hit the campaign trail. He also called in favors from the Democratic Party., who sent in the big guns, such as President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris and Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.
They all campaigned for him. In addition, it seems that Newsom’s strict lockdown rules worked to halt the spread of Covid in California and state residents realized that.

Newsom is a formidable opponent
I’ve always recognized that Newsom was a skilled politician. And this came to the fore in the recall election.
