Award-Winning Country/Pop Singer Performs in Montclair

Award-winning country/pop singer Eileen Carey will be performing at The Canyon- Montclair on Friday, April 1. She will open for the Motels. The show starts at 7 p.m.
Carey is currently promoting her single, “Dreaming with Me,” Inspiration starts with one person. It has a sense of magic to it that is undeniable. That is what Carey’s newest single brings to its listeners — the essence of an uplifting journey. This uplifting single is streaming extremely well on music platforms including SoundCloud, Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, and iTunes, among others.
Carey, a Cleveland, Ohio native, moved to California in the ’80s. She originally wanted to be a film director and went to school in that field. However, she also dabbled with music and wrote some pop/rock songs. An associate asked if he could put her song on a country radio station, and the song, “That Town,” went on to be a top 10 hit. It was dubbed “West Coast country.”
Carey now says her background in film is very useful in making videos which she describes as “mini-movies.”
