American-Trained Killers Have Turned Guns on Own Government
I had this horrifying thought a couple of days ago. We’ve trained men and women to go around the world and kill People of Color (POC.) Now, some of those same people want to use those skills to kill POC in our government. Make no mistake, Black and Brown legislators were specifically targeted during the Capitol attack.
Several servicemen and women participated in the insurrection. But there were also some people with special forces training on the ground. These guys are highly skilled, and they know what they are doing. They know how to stage raids and executions because they’ve been doing it for the last 30-odd years!
“As President Donald Trump’s supporters massed outside the Capitol last week and sang the national anthem, a line of men wearing olive-drab helmets and body armor trudged purposefully up the marble stairs in a single-file line, each man holding the jacket collar of the one ahead,” according to an Associated Press story. “The formation, known as ‘Ranger File,’ is standard operating procedure for a combat team that is “stacking up” to breach a building — instantly recognizable to any U.S. soldier or Marine who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was a chilling sign that many at the vanguard of the mob that stormed the seat of American democracy either had military training or were trained by those who did.”
