There’s something majorly wrong with the Republican Party and it’s not just its devotion to former President Donald Trump, the most corrupt and dangerous president in U.S. history. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. However, something has gone wrong in the GOP where morality has been inverted.
To be a Republican these days means you live in an upside-down world where wrong is right and right is wrong. A good example of this is the veneration of the Jan. 6 terrorists who are patriotic heroes on the far-right. But patriots don’t beat up police officers and try to tear down democracy!
Republicans seem to be forever on the wrong side of issues. For example, they are constantly harping about the success of the American for-profit healthcare system. However, the average American knows our healthcare system is expensive, inefficient and buries people in debt. But don’t tell a Republican that!
